Body Repairs
Thomson's Smash Repairs completes all bodywork and panel replacement on-site in our modern, fully equipped workshop. Computer-aided body/chassis alignment and structural repairs are completed with our Car-o-Tronic bench and measurement system, where before and after printouts are supplied upon request. Our equipment levels are second to none in the southwest, and our facilities match Perth Metro prestige repairers.
Vehicle Refinish
Our dedicated vehicle refinish department uses 'Water Based' colours that replicate 'OEM' original paint coatings, combined with high solids, and 2 part clear coats. 3 layer colours and modern 'Candy' colours are painted on a weekly basis. Our fully trained and dedicated paint technicians apply these coatings. Along with infra-red and 'UV' cured primers, we can match your vehicle's original finish in our 2 fully down-drafted spray and baking booths to achieve a blemish-free finish.
Insurance work
Some of our insurance partners are globally recognised names, such as Allianz, QBE and Zurich, and our local WA provider is RAC. As well as these, you'll be glad to know that we also work with all major insurance companies. We have dedicated communication portals with these companies which assist the administration and compliance of all repairs undertaken. We work with any insurance company and carry out work to their individual requests.
1Q1 Software
Our 1Q1 Management Software Package lets our clients know exactly where their vehicle sits in our repair process, sending 'live action' texts directly to their mobile phones. This means the client no longer needs to take time out of their day to phone for verbal updates. This also directly interfaces with our work providers, giving them the relevant information also.
Rapid Repair Shop
Our newly opened rapid repair facility is positioned in the market to complete smaller repairs with a one or two-day turnaround. Repairs that fit into this part of the business include replacement bumpers, small body repairs, minor scrapes and dents etc. Clients will be notified if their repair fits this model.
Paintless Dent Removal
Paintless Dent Removal is always an option of repair, both on a private basis or as part of an authorised insurance repair. We always give our clients this service if a satisfactory outcome can be achieved.
Auto Detailing
Automotive detailing can be carried out post repairs by a choice of outsourced facilities. All vehicles repaired by Thomson's Smash Repairs will have a 'service' wash and vacuum free of charge. This is NOT a full detail but is part of our customer service agenda.
